This book speaks directly to abuse survivors still carrying the weight of their childhood, to veterans navigating PTSD and the isolation that comes with it, to anyone recovering from addiction or rebuilding after betrayal, and to every person who has ever looked in the mirror and wondered if they would ever feel whole.
From sleeping on carpet scraps in an attic as a child to facing relentless adversity, this story tackles the scars left by those who should have protected us.
